These programs are designed to foster creativity in young people, and give them outlets for self-expression. From sketching to dance, our Arts program has something that will inspire everyone.
After School Programs
Arts & Crafts: Youth can create a new masterpiece and work with clay, the potter's wheel, ceramics, beads, drawing and painting. They earn more about color, layout, perspective, and balance. Art helps children develop their motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk taking and inventiveness. Funded in part by the Variety Club of Buffalo & WNY and the Art Services Initiative.
Music Makers: Ever wanted to try a new instrument? Club kids get that chance every week through this program. Children learn to play a variety of musical instruments under the supervision of talented local musicians. They also get to perform live on the stage in the Teen Room. Funded in part by the Art Services Initiative and the National Association of Music Makers.
Evening Programs
Dance Program: For boys and girls, ages 3 and up! Children keep moving through fun dances that develop their creativity, community, critical thinking and collaboration. Classes begin mid-October.
