UPDATE...Chowder Cup 2020
With the reopening of WNY underway and the rules for golf courses changing regularly, here is an update on our 2020 Chowder Cup Golf Tournament:
At this time we are planning to safely host our tournament on Monday, July 27th!
Plans for the Chowder Cup are under continuous review with David Jones, Golf Pro, and the East Aurora Country Club who are working closely with us in an effort to provide a tournament that will allow golfers and sponsors to golf and support the Club.
We will be making changes to the format to ensure that we can provide a fun and safe tournament for all; social distancing measures, to-go meals, staggered start times, am/pm groups, virtual awards ceremony, etc., while following the guidelines established by EACC, the CDC and NYS Governor's Office.
Please note, we have also reserved Monday, September 21st as an alternate date and will continue to provide updated information as it becomes available.
Also, due to restrictions and limitations on group sizes, we are currently at capacity for golfers. If you are interested in golfing with us on July 27th, please email Lori Stein Lstein@bgcea.org to have your name added to our golfer wait-list. We hope to open up to additional golfers when/if restrictions change.”
