About Us

BGCEA is part of Boys & Girls Club of America

Boys & Girls Club of American is a national network of affiliated Clubs. In 1939 the Club was founded by a concerned group of citizens spearheaded by Niles Barnum and Herm Fisher (founder of Fisher Price) to provide a wholesome place for all youth to perfect their athletic abilities and develope the skills to become future good citizens.  Today, the Club remains a safe and fun place for kids to believe in themselves, succeed, and dream about their future.

The Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, led by Board President Michael Wymer.
Day-to-day operations are managed and led by Chief Executive Officer Gary Schutrum.
