Part-time Youth Development Professional, Education Director for the Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora.

Candidate should possess basic computer skills, organizational skills, patience and creativity; as well as having the ability to relate
well with youth, engage them in fun educational activities and assist with schoolwork in an informal atmosphere. 

Summary
As the Youth Development Professional/Education Director, you will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and engaging environment for children. Reporting to the CEO, you will leverage your core skills in childcare and experience with children to oversee educational activities and youth programs. Your premium skills in classroom management and special education will enhance the learning experience, while your relevant skills in tutoring and behavior management will ensure individual needs are met. Strong organizational and
computer skills are essential for maintaining program efficiency and communication. Join us in shaping the future of our
youth through impactful education and development.

Responsibilities 
Develop and implement engaging educational programs for youth, focusing on personal growth and skill development. Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment. Provide guidance and support to children in various activities.
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment by adhering to first aid and childcare protocols. Collaborate with team members
to enhance program effectiveness and address individual member needs.


Hours 2:00-6:00 p.m. on school days (Monday-Friday), salary $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
