Full-Time Youth Development Professional (Teen Director) Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora
Position Overview
The Boys & Girls Club of East Aurora is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Youth Development Professional to serve as the Teen Director for youth members in grades 5 - 12.. This role focuses on planning, leading, supporting, and delivering positive social recreational activities that foster academic success, good character, citizenship, and healthy lifestyles in our Teen Room Program Space.
Experience working with youth is preferred, and prior customer service experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities - Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate recreational, leadership and social activities for youth 5th - 12th Grade - Lead and support group activities that encourage teamwork, communication, and positive behavior - Greet members and visitors, manage front desk responsibilities, and maintain attendance logs - Oversee the Membership Management System: training, enrollment, data entry, and accuracy - Run regular reports to ensure data integrity and maintain clean, safe activity areas - Answer phones, provide general information, and refer callers appropriately - Maintain filing systems (electronic and hard copy) for easy information retrieval - Build and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardians - Ensure member safety and administer first aid when needed - Supervise and direct members during activities; prevent equipment abuse, eating, drinking, or gum chewing during programs - Perform area cleaning or other duties assigned by the Unit Director - Demonstrate daily professional standards toward peers, supervisors, volunteers, and community partners
Work Schedule & Requirements - Hours: 9:30 - 6:00 PM (Some Evening Hours Required) - Availability: Monday – Friday - Minimum Age: 21 Years Old - Education: College Degree (preferred) - Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work - Background: Must pass background check process - Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire (paid by the Club)
Compensation - Salary: $21.00 per hour - $24.00 Per Hour

Compensation - Salary: $18.00 per hour - $20.00 Per Hour
