Join us for our fun and fast-paced basketball leagues. The Winter Travel League includes teams for Boys (2nd-4th and 5th-6th grades) and Girls (5th-6th grades). Kids will participate in team practices, skills/drills, and games with either EA kids their age or other Boys & Girls Clubs. Players will learn basketball basics, teamwork, and leadership.
Dates: October through December:
Boys 2nd-4th Grades: 4-6 teams will compete in an in-house league here at the Club.
Practices: Weekly on either Wednesday or Friday evenings. Practices will be for one hour and occur between 5:15-8:00 PM. More information will be provided following try-outs.
Games: At the Club on Saturday mornings.
Try-outs: October 25th (6:15-7:45 PM).
Girls 5th-6th Grades: This age group will have 1-2 teams.
Practices: Held either Monday or Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:15 PM or 7:15-8:30 PM, then switch to Saturdays in December.
Games: Played against other Boys & Girls Clubs on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Try-outs: October 21st (6:00-7:30 PM) or October 23rd (6:00-7:30 PM).
Boys 5th-6th Grades: 1 or 2 travel teams.
Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays from either 6:00-7:15 PM or 7:15-8:30 PM.
Games: Against other Boys & Girls Clubs on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Try-outs: October 22nd and October 24th (6:00-7:30 PM).
Girls 2nd-4th Grades: Registration for teams will begin in January.
Cost: The cost for a Club member is $80, while the rate for a Non-member is $130. Please contact Michelle Wendelboe for scholarship information.
