The Club is a drop-in social, recreational program and maintains an open-door policy (this differs from the Licensed School-Age Child Care program). Club members sign in with their membership cards when they arrive and can attend as much or as little as they like and participate in programs of their own choice. We suggest new members try every program area to see what they are interested in. If you do not want your child to leave the Club, please communicate that with them. We highly recommend that you instruct your child to remain at the Club until they are picked-up by their parent or guardian. Especially our elementary members in grades 2-4.
All Visitors, including Parents picking up, must check in at the Front Desk. If you are here to watch a game or activity, please sign our Visitor Logbook at the Front Desk.
Download the free LiveSafe App to your mobile device. LiveSafe allows us to communicate any changes in schedules or cancellations in a timely manner. It also has a SafeWalk feature that will allow you to virtually escort your child to the Club and notify you of their safe arrival. For instructions on how to download the App click HERE.
When driving in front of the Club, use extreme caution and watch out for our children. Members must remaininside the Club until their ride arrives. Please do not ask your child to break this rule. Due to the amount of phone calls and the disruption to our programs the constant paging of members to go outside causes, we are unable to page your children and send them outside. Please communicate with us if there are extenuating circumstances that prevents you from adhering to the pick up procedures outlined above.
Parents have a few options when picking up their children.
Come into the Club, have your child paged to the front desk. We are only able to page your child 1x, if they do not respond to the page, you will have to look for them in the different program areas.
Come into the Club, stop at the front desk, then look for your child in the different program areas, see what activities they participate in while they are here.
Arrange a specific time for your child to be waiting for you in a program area of the Club. This will avoid you having to search the entire building for your child.
Cars parking or standing on the sidewalk in front of our building is prohibited. Parking is available on Paine St., on the west side of the building by the police station or behind our building in our parking lot (enter on Savage Pl.) Our kids safety is worth the extra steps!
Membership cards will be issued to all members in grades 2-6 and new 7th & 8th grade members. Cards can be picked up at the front desk 3-5 days after registration. Cards are not mailed home. Please have your child bring their card to the Club every day, this helps to eliminate delays & confusion when signing in. All members must sign in at the front desk upon arrival-NO EXCEPTIONS. Club member orientation sessions will be offered periodically throughout the year. All program areas of the Club are staffed at all times during Club hours. When outdoor play is available, a staff person will oversee activities in the back of our building. If there are any issues or concerns while your child is attending the Club, please get in touch with the Unit Director, Neil Parrish at 716-652-4180 or byclickingHERE.
Program Sign-up- Programs that require no fee, members are able to sign up directly with staff providing the program or at the front desk. Drop-ins- No signup is required, just come and participate. Programs that require a fee will have an online registration and payment. Examples would include Peanut Patrol, Dance, Camp Autumn, Camp Spring etc. Our discipline policy includes the 3-strikes rule. The first strike is a warning, the second is a suspension from the program area, and the third is a suspension from the Club and parent notification. Valuables-The Club is not liable for lost or stolen items. It is recommended that members leave valuables at the front desk. All valuables must be picked up prior to leaving the Club. The Club is not responsible for items left overnight.
